Application of HyperLynx in the design of a Multi-FPGA system

WU Xi-sheng · Techniques of Automation and Applications · 2008

SoC(System-on Chip) has become a tendency as the development of technology.Consequently an FPGA system with larger gate capacity is required for functional verification.A fundamental limitation of the use of an FPGA is that its gate capacity lags behind that of the contemporary ASICs.A multi-FPGA system is the only viable solution to provide a large gate capacity.Signal integrity is a challenge for multi-FPGA systems and the HyperLynx simulation can provide a guide to ensure the success of the design and performance improvement of the system.
