Intelligent Spinning Process Planning Based on CBR

Case-based Reasoning(CBR) is an intelligent method developed in recent years,which is a typical analog approach based on case history and experience obtained in past practice.According to the feature that process planning depends on the expert knowledge and experience to some extent, the technology of CBR is brought into the design of spinning process.Then an intelligent process planning system based on CBR is presented.The similarity measure between cases together with the maintenance of case base is also discussed.The practical application shows that this intelligent system is able to improve the design efficiency and accuracy,and shorten the circle of production exploitation.
