Yang Bang-hu · Beijing shengwu yixue gongcheng · 2006

For overcoming defect of power spectrum which provides no phase information and taking advantage of good characteristics of higher order spectra, the paper deals with five typical mental tasks of the EEG(Electroencephalogram),which are considered to be non-Gaussian random processes, with 1.5-dimension spectrum and the rudimentary results are also presented. It shows that quadratic phase coupling occurs on all mental tasks discribed although differences exist. The proposed method also indicates a new way to the EEG study.
