Analysis of sociality on characteristics of node movement traces in MANET

Analyzing the movement traces from real scenarios,we demonstrate that the complementary cumulative distribution function of contact duration,which follows an approximation power law,familiarity-regularity distribution is consistent with the characteristics of the relationships in real scenarios.Furthermore,from the view point of sociology,the reasons that causes the characteristics of these two distributions are analyzed.The results show that these two distributions can be used to measure the sociality of real traces effectively.It can provide guidance for the simulation of applications and systems designed for human-like mobile environments in MANET.
