FLOOD CONTROL INFORMATION SHARING AND METADATA STUDY

The flood control information sharing requirement and metadata standards are analyzed. According to the characteristics of watershed data distribution and the needs of flood control comprehensive information management, the flood control information sharing and metadata technology based on GIS are discussed. A metadatabase of flood control information is designed and an information sharing strategy based on metadata is proposed.
