Interpersonal interaction recognition of biological motion

Objective To study the interpersonal interaction recognition characteristics of biological motion.Methods We played 19 interpersonal interaction stimulations and 8 non-communication stimulations to the participants, who were asked to answer to the stimulations. Then the results were assessed by the judges. Results(1) As for communication behaviors, source video test showed that significant difference existed in the recognition rate ofthe near point between females and males(χ2=21.52, P=0.001).(2) As for the social motivation, there were significant differences in the recognition rate ofdon't(χ2=8.66, P=0.003) andwhich one(χ2=8.37, P=0.004) between females and males.(3) As for specific gestures, there were significant differences in the identification rates ofI am very angry(χ2=5.44, P=0.020),don't(χ2=8.27, P=0.004) andpick up(χ2=5.70, P=0.017). Conclusion Chinese college students have high sensitivity in the interactive recognition. In the recognition rates of social motivation and gestures, some actions are consistent with foreign studies, and some are not.
