Distributed Vehicle Monitor Information Service Platform Based on LBS

The LBS platform for vehicle monitor information service is formed by integrating the GPS, GPRS and Web services techniques in this paper. The data-transferring problem based on GPRS in current monitor system is analyzed and the solution is addressed. A Web-published function frame of integrated traffic GIS based on Web services architecture published platform is presented. Three-tier system architecture of B/S and C/S mixture model is designed. The validity, stability and extensibility of the system are demonstrated by application instance.
