A Characterization Theorem for L_2(q)

The information of the structure of a group is obtained from the set of orders of its maximal Abelian subgroups.Motivated by this idea the group L2(q),q≡3,5(mod 8) can be uniquely determined up to the isomorphism by the set of orders of its maximal Abelian subgroups.
