Study on modeling of process ontology for enterprise patent resources management

It is obvious for the process of enterprise patent resources management to have the problem of stability matching degree and weak automation ability.Introducing ontology into the description of workflow for patent management can solve this problem.Using the IDEF5 graphic language can construct the process ontology for enterprise patent resources management.Based on those,the visual description of enterprise patent evaluation process is realized.The precise syntax and formal semantics are defined in the OWL language.The proposed approach provides a common understanding of a relevant vocabulary of terms and enhances the semantic interoperability,reuse and share of process knowledge for improving efficiency of enterprise patent resources management.
