Implement of Physical Network Topology Discovery Based on SNMP
Tao Zhang · IEEE Software · 2011
Network topology information is important for network management. Using the simple network management protocol(SNMP), the data in management information database(MIB) can be got. According to the Address Forwarding Table in MIB, the network topology can be got through judging the port link between network equipments. Experimental results show that the process can find the network topology of local area network accurately and effectively.
