Dual-channel Beaconless Geographic Routing Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks
Huang Cha · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2014
This paper proposes a dual-channel beaconless geographic routing protocol( DBGR). Based on the dual-channel communication mode,DBGR can get rid of the collisions among control packets and data packets. Moreover, power control is applied to DBGR to degrade the contention intensity and save energy of the related nodes. DBGR accomplishes parallel transmitting in the two sub-channels,and can timely wake up data sub-channel to solve the early wakeup problem. Simulation results show that DBGR can effectively alleviate network collisions thus to improve energy efficiency and shorten forwarding delay attributed to the combination of parallel transmitting mode and beaconless forwarding.
