GraphPad Prism 5.0 software used for the calculation of in vitro EC50 of a drug was introduced through an example:the fitted dose-effect curve and EC50 value were generated and outputted automatically following the inputting of inhibition rate data of an antiviral drug on virus-induced cytopathic effect and the setting of parameters in GraphPad Prism 5.0.
