Analysis of Security Performance Based on Ellipse Curve Cryptosystem

This paper mainly explores the concept of the Ellipse Curve and common methods of attacking the Ellipse Curve Cryptosystem (ECC), discusses the security performance of the Ellipse Curve Cryptosystem by comparing ECC with other public-key cryptosystems. It shows ECC is shorter in key, faster in computing speed and less in data quantity than other public-key cryptosystems. Therefore, ECC becomes one of most efficient public-key cryptosystems.
