Evaluation of Speech Quality in Packet Loss Compensation Algorithms

By using the standard of PESQ(Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality),a method is found to measure the effect of packet loss compensation algorithms.As to different packet loss ratios,the distribution trend of the corresponding PESQ values are given in this paper.Meanwhile,high correlation is found between the subjective and the objective assessments.In addition,some description words are summarized from the subjective test to facilitate the improvement of PLC algorithms.
