Analysis of Application of XML in Web Data Mining

The article introduces the conceptions of XML, and the ways in which XML is prior to HTML, and the characteristic of XML and the basic conception and technology of data mining. It summarizes the characteristics of Web data mining and explains several ways in which XML is applied to Web data mining . Finally, it gives an example which realizes Web data mining by using HTML,XML and JAVA.
