Culculations of the Counting Page Fault Rate in the Virtual Memory System

The page replacement algorithm plays a key role in managing virtual memory,which is determined by the page fault rate.It aimed to analysis the interruption effect in terms of virtual memory management,and discuss several approaches on how to calculate inter- ruption times. The system’s performance was compared as well. The results show that it’s simple and promising by calculating interruption times with system performance model.
