Comparison of Image Matching Point Clouds with LiDAR Point Clouds

This paper introduced the current situation and development trend of the research of image matching. And then the paper analyzed the purpose and significance of using image matching point clouds to obtain DEM. By analyzing the characteristics of image matching point clouds as well as the comparison of photogrammetry methods and Li DAR methods used in the obtainment of point clouds, certain advantages over point clouds obtained by LiD AR was pointed out.
