The theories of segment design for refining disc were summarized.Designed a refining disc for separating wood and straw fibers together on the 300mm diameter lab-refiner,according to the characteristics of straw and wood fibers and requirements for defiberation.The experiment proved that the designed disc can meet the need for refining wood and straw together in lab.
