Weighted Browsing Patterns Mining with the Linguistic Restriction

This paper attempts to propose a weighted Web mining technique using linguistic parameters to discover weighted browsing patterns from log data in Web servers.Web pages are firstly evaluated by managers as linguistic terms to reflect their importance,which are then transformed as fuzzy sets of weights.Users assign the linguistic minimum support and preference.The linguistic inputs and outputs are more natural and understandable for human beings.An example is also given to clearly illustrate the proposed approach.
