Realistic facial modeling and animation is one of the most fundamental and challenging problems in computer graphics.Modeling realistic human faces is the first and most important step. Then a 3D facial model editing system is developed,as can be used to insert, delete, modify and divide according to each area's function. When there is no laser-based cylindrical scanner, the editing system can quickly model human faces by employing ASE files.A new storage structure, namely, modified Wing-edge data structure, which modifies the scattered ASE files,is designed for better editing and animating.
