A method for evaluating the operation effectiveness of fighters is proposed based on grey relation projection, and the basic principle of the method is introduced.According to such indexes as flexibility, firepower, detectability, maneuverability, survivability, voyage and electronic countermeasure capability etc of the fighter aircrafts, grey relation projection method is used for evaluating the operation effectiveness of the main fighters in the world. The result is reasonable, which shows that it is feasible for using grey relation projection method in fighter effectiveness evaluation.
