Application of FSWT in accurate extraction of time-frequency features for blasting vibration signals

Guo Ta · Zhendong yu chongji · 2013

A new time-frequency feature extraction method was studied based on frequency slice wavelet transformation( FSWT). FSWT was used to decompose a blasting vibration signal and the full band of its time-frequency distribution was obtained. After that, according to its energy distribution, time and frequency intervals were chosen to get accurate analysis of time-frequency feature. Through reconstructing signals in characteristic frequency slices, separation and extraction of time-frequency features were realized. Comparative analysis among FSWT and traditional algorithms, such as,STFT,WPT and WVD showed that FSWT algorithm has a good time-frequency clustering,a good flexibility because any band component feature can be extracted, and a better accuracy; FSWT algorithm can be introduced into blasting vibration effect analysis fields,it can provide a basis for time-frequency feature accurate extraction; it has a good application prospect.
