Improved-GT-operator-based cooperative coevolutionary approach to function optimization

A cooperative co-evolution(CCEA) model to function optimization is proposed,based on an improved Guo Tao operator,which employed a Gauss mutation operator to enhance its exploring ability.The experiments show that the results are mostly better than current published ones but inferior to CCEA based on Guo Tao algorithm.It evidences that the Gauss mutation operator in this new al-gorithm is not useful.
