Simulation of Articulated Tank’s Trench Crossing Performance Capacity Based on ADAMS/ATV

In order to enhance obstacle negotiation ability of tanks,the paper proposes an obstacle negotiation method of tanks,which were fore-and-aft linked by articulated devices.We established tank’s virtual prototype model by using ATV tool box of ADAMS,and simulated and analyzed the process of a single tank and articulated tank respectively,based on analysis of a certain tank’s riding performance and soil properties.
