Fault Diagnosis Based on Analysis of Multifractal

A novel measure is proposed,called the Hlder exponent,which is based on the multifractal time series analysis. Due to the simplicity and rapidity of calculation,the new method is suitable for demand of real-time in fault diagnosis. By tuning the sensibility of Hlder exponent for a time series,the method captures the concise multifractal properties in any circumstances with two parameters.
