Solution of LRIT Equipment on Chinese Ships

The requirements of LRIT system in SOLAS came into force on January 1st 2008 and Chinese LRIT system has been put into use recently. Ships built before December 31st 2008 have been fitted with the required equipment while some new ships still face the problem of requirement. This paper investigates some ships and ship companies and discusses the construction of LRIT system, ship borne equipment as well as the solution of such problems.
