The quality of link communication has a significant impact on upper-layer applications in wireless sensor networks. We study the problem of decision fusion transmitted over fading channels by utilizing multiple distributed sensors. An optimal likelihood ratio(LR)-based fusion rule is derived, two suboptimum alternatives are presented to reduce computation requirements in the low or high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) channel.Furthermore,we study the fusion statistic under the identical local sensor and the same channel SNR assumption. Finally,a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
