Static detecting method for invalid arithmetic operation errors

Invalid arithmetic operation is a common kind of error in programs written in C/C++,which often causes system collapse.Firstly the classical C/C++ errors of invalid arithmetic operation is analyzed,a defect model of invalid arithmetic operation about C/C++ based on defect-oriented testing strategy is established,then a detecting method of invalid arithmetic operation errors combining the ad-vantage of static analysis is described.This algorithm is implemented and is used in a defect-oriented testing system.
