A Modified Design Criterion of Space-Time Trellis Codes and Method of Codes Construction

A modified criterion for quasi-static rayleigh fading channels is presented with classification of error events. Based on the criterion, an effective and straightforward method is proposed to construct codes with better performance by search. This method has better advantage not only on computation but also on performance.
