A Review of Spoken and Written English Corpus of Chinese Learners

Since 1990's,different projects of corpus of learner English have started to spring up.At the same time,great progress has been made in corpus of learner English in China,which is highly recognized in this field of the world.The research of SLA,especially the research of English-Major instruction,will surly benefit from the building of Spoken and Written English Corpus of Chinese Learners(SWECCL).This thesis gives a brief introduce to the development of international corpora of learner English,a review of SWECCL and the potential applications of SWECCL.
