Effectiveness Evaluation Method for Information Systems Based on Exploratory Analysis

All kinds of information systems have been used widely for military purpose,but it is difficult to evaluate the value of information systems for operations.Aimed at the requirement of effectiveness evaluation for information systems,a new method based exploratory analysis(EA) is presented,the common process for evaluation is given with 6 steps,then a case of information systems supporting missile precision engagement is demonstrated to show how to use the new method.This method analysises all kinds of results by mathematics models and conventional system analysis experience,and makes a mass of count experiment to get the valuable conclusion,it summarizes the exploratory thought of the top-down and the simulation experiment method of the bottom-up,and provides a new methodology for evaluation of information system.
