An Evolution Algorithm Based on Partial Ordering Relation for the Layout of Well Drilling

The layout of well drilling is to use data from oil wells to reduce the number of new well drilling under certain constrained condition for the purpose of reducing drilling cost. It is implemented by moving grids so as to increase the useful oil well number as many as possible. A mathematic model is established for solving the problem of well layout. An evolution algorithm is designed for solving the partial ordering relation, by which an ideal method is obtained for calculation. The result shows that the method is high precision and rapid operation.
