Alarm correlation analysis for monitoring system in power communication network

Alarms correlation analysis is an important task in network fault diagnosis,therefore,it plays an important role in network management and maintenance.This paper introduces some researches of alarms correlation methods,analyses the features of power communication network monitoring system,describes a algorithm of alarm correlation rules mining,and puts forward a method based on correlation rules algorithm.The experiments show that many correlation rules can be acquired from alarm data accurately and rapidly.Furthermore,these rules can be used in fault location,diagnosis and prediction to improve the efficiency of fault handling.
