Early-warning model for icing power grid accident based on rough set

Wei Ma · Journal of Tsinghua University(Science and Technology) · 2010

For single factor is not enough to forecast the icing power grid's accident,multi-factors induced the power grid icing such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and altitude were analyzed.A decision table was developed based on the conditions with these factors as the condition attributes and the actual power grid collapse as the decision attribute.A variable precision rough set model was used for the data analysis with incomplete information processing, attribute discretization, attribute reduction and classification rule extraction.Key pre-warning rules with the multi-factors' value were developed for future power grid emergency classifications.
