Research of image watermarking algorithm based on SVD

Digital watermarking is deemed as a novel technique for copyright protection of digital product and has aroused extensive in-terests in recent years. A new digital image watermarking algorithm based on block singular value decomposition (SVD) is proposedby incorporating SVD and two-key modulation. The singular values of each image sub-block is gained to form a vector by applying theSVD procedure. Then a watermark is embedded by modulating the vectors in terms of two secret keys. The algorithm recovers the wa-termark without any reference to the original image. Experimental results show that the new watermarking method performs well in bothimperceptibility and robustness.
