An Interval Method for Absolution Value Equations

This paper is concerned with the absolute value equations Ax-|x|=b.Based on a new interval operator,a new interval algorithm is proposed which could solve the absolute value equations.Simultaneously in the analysis,the estimation error between real solution and approximate solution has been made.Its convergence and linear convergent rate are proved when the singular values of A exceed 1.Theoretic analysis and numerical results show the method is effective.
