Technology of Speaker Adaptation in Speech Recognition and Its Development Trend

Speaker adaptation is a powerful means of improving the performance of speaker independent speech recognition system.This paper focuses on state of the art of speaker adaptation technologies that include the modes and algorithms of speaker adaptation.The details of MLLR and MAP algorithms that are widely used are also given.The trend of study on speaker adaptation is predicted in this paper.
