Ultrasonic data compression based on feature extraction and Delta encoding

A feature-based combined with Delta encoding data compression method is proposed to preserve massive a-wave data generated by automatic ultrasonic inspection.Special binary codes for representing decimal numbers are introduced to improve data compression ratio.By combining feature extraction with Delta encoding,data compression can be changed according to restore precision.An example is given to explain the compression and restore effect at the end of paper.
