Application of texture analysis in ultrasound liver tissue characterization

Modern ultrasound medical imaging, which can extract image texture information from the returned ultrasound echoes for the purpose of identifying the type of tissue present in the ultrasound image, offers a new path in clinical diagnosis and therapy. After various algorithms of image texture analysis and the application of texture analysis in ultrasound liver image are present, the problems are now existed and need to be developed are also discussed.
