Application of Real-time Audio Transmission Based on Multicast in Telemedicine

In the implementation of telemedicine there are some special requirements of multimedia communication. Here introduced the multicast technology to the analysis and designing of the real-time audio transmission system. And a multi-nod real time audio system was implemented by using the multicast technology. The system has met the requirement of remote diagnosis between two or more specialists. The system that accomplished has applied in the telemedicine system successfully and it runs stably and efficiently.
