A Data Association Technique for Passive Radar

Data association is important in multi-target tracking.This paper introduces a data association technique for passive radar.A association algorithm,based on range,azimuth and Doppler velocity,is proposed after analysing a typical target.The multi-target data association is solved well by using matrix of association membership.By this technique,the accuracy of data association is greatly improved.It is proved that this method is feasible and effective in engineering application.At last,it is found that the measurement data of Doppler velocity is very stable.The association property of Doppler velocity is applied to track initiation and maneuvering target tracking,which improves the tracking performance.
