Study and Realization on a Compressing Algorithm Based on SCM

An algorithm based on SCM is proposed to compress data.Adaptive differential pulse code modulation(ADPCM) is adopted.The algorithm needs so little calculation that an average SCM can have a real-time compress. Zero-crossing function is also provided to constrain error-spreading effect.
