Study and Application of Parallel Computing of MCNP Code Based on Rocks

Using Rocks,a specific Linux-based high-performance cluster platform is build,and the application of MCNP parallel computing is implemented. The case relating calculation of source range detector response in Tianwan nuclear power plant is given and performance of the parallel computing cluster is analyzed. An effective and reliable method is introduced,which is very useful for building a parallel computing cluster and implementing large-scale parallel computing of MCNP.
