Cost effective placement of electronic components onto the PCB is the goal of the pick-and-place operation.Shorter runs,faster turnarounds,and a continuously evolving mix of components with higher lead counts and finer pitches are new challenges of today's pick-and-place equipment.Pick-and-place equipment provides the capabilities and cost efficiencies demanded by the specific production environment and pro-duct being manufactured.
