A Low Density Matrix Coding and Decoding Method Based on PPM Modulation

According to the sparse characteristic of the PPM modulated signal,this paper proposes a coding method making use of a low density matrix,and decoding with maximum a posteriori probability rule.Compared with the regular LDPC,the proposed method has better error correction ability and decoding speed when using hard or soft decisions.
