This paper mainly researched the current status and development tendency of transportation Internet of things.It analyzed some projects including IntelliDrive,eSafety and Smartway.Then it compared the differences in transportation Int-ernet of things between the abroad and china.At the end,it presented a prospect,to establish a comprehensive transportation information system combining transportation Internet of things with cloud computing.
