Analysis on Frequent Faults in English Abatracts of Scientific Papers

English abstracts: English abstracts of scientific papers concise authors' main ideas. Successful translation of abstracts plays an important role in quaranteeing the scientific papers' academic value in global communication. However,in recent years,inaccurate translation in English abstracts is a matter of common occurrence. The English editors who are responsible for the papers' quality should understand thoroughly the inaccrate translation,and make reasonable revise. Through several living examples,the paper illustrates the effect of inaccurate translation from several aspects such as singular and plural nouns,nonfinite verb,near-synonyms which are easily confused,parts of speech errors,Chinglish phenomenon,as well as conciseness of english abstracts,wishing to be helpful for vast numbers of English editors and scientific papers' authors.
