To study the problem of blind identification of multiple-input multiple-out(MIMO) linear system,an linear, equation error-based higher order statistics(HOS) improved algorithm is given. The algorithm utilizes the common nullspace of a set of fourth-order cumulant matrices of the output signals to identify an unknown MIMO channel impulse response up to a constant monomial matrix. It is shown that for MIMO systems with an equal channel length for different users, the algorithm only requires a weaker indentifiability condition.Compared with the existing algorithm, the improved algorithm fully utilizes the inherent structure of cumulant matrix of the output signals and improves its performance of estimation.Computer simulations prove its effectiveness.
