Aiming at the shortcomings of prevalent video monitoring system,an intelligent monitoring system based on USB2.0.is presented.This system can accomplish automatic detection and classification of moving objects by making use of the computer system.The impacts on reference images caused by the variation with time and sunlight are eliminated by renewing reference images on-line.By using the digital image recognition technique,the system can judge abnormal things at the supervised locale by analyzing the real time image information and then give the alarm signals.
