MAC algorithm based on multi-packet reception and power control in WSN

Along with the fast development of signal processing technology and some new ideas for the network design,the multi-packet reception technology brings forth a new concept to improve the throughput in the wireless sensor networks.This paper,based on S-MAC,takes the multi-packet reception thought and proposes a novel medium access control protocol for applying to the wireless sensor network.The analysis of throughput about this protocol has been given.The simulation result indicates that when node sends packet that attains a certain value,the new protocol may remarkably enhance the wireless sensor network throughput.
